Why Go Motorized

When Coral Springs Homes Need Motorized Blinds

Our afternoon sun here is brutal, especially on west-facing windows. Motorized blinds let you schedule your shades to close before the heat hits, saving your furniture and your AC bill. We've seen clients with high or hard-to-reach windows over sliders who simply can't use a wand. A remote or app fixes that instantly. Window blinds have evolved over centuries, combining timeless light control and privacy with modern motorized convenience.[1] Last month a customer in Eagle Trace asked us to automate her arched living room windows. She loves that they open with sunrise now. If you've got pets or kids pulling at cords, this is also a safer option.

Exceptional service and Ronnie is extremely friendly. He has lots of options as far as blinds are concerned and installed them quickly. He even came out a year later when on of my roller shades stopped working to fix it with no issue. His prices are great as well! If you need new blinds don’t hesitate to use prestige blinds!

Common Questions

Motorized Blinds Questions

Here are answers to what Coral Springs homeowners ask us most.

  • How much do motorized blinds cost?

Most jobs run between $250 and $1,800 per window depending on size and fabric. Larger arched windows in homes like those in Eagle Trace cost more. We give you a written quote before any work starts. Our free estimate covers your exact windows.

  • How long does installation take?

Most Services finish in a single day. Larger homes with many windows might need a bit more time. We schedule around your day so it's not a hassle.

  • Should I install motorized blinds myself?

We don't recommend it. Wiring and motor mounting take experience, and mistakes can damage your blinds or walls. Our in-house electricians handle it safely the first time.

  • How are motorized blinds different from manual blinds?

Manual blinds use a wand or cord you pull by hand. Motorized blinds move with a remote, app, or voice command. They're also safer for homes with kids or pets.

  • How soon should I replace old, worn blinds?

Don't wait too long. Old blinds let in more UV and heat, which fades floors and furniture faster. If your blinds are fading or sticking, it's time to call.

  • What are the signs I need motorized blinds?

If you struggle to reach high windows or have cords near kids and pets, that's a clear sign. Fading fabric or frustration with daily adjustments are other common reasons people switch.

  • Can motorized blinds work with my smart home?

Yes, most of our motorized systems connect with Alexa or Google Home. Our electricians set up the app and voice controls during install. You'll be able to control blinds from your phone right away.
